Christiaan Posted August 24, 2006 Share Posted August 24, 2006 I searched but couldn't find any mention of this one. I'd like a keyboard shortcut to toggle Zoom Line Thickness on and off. Quote Link to comment
0 Ray Libby Posted August 24, 2006 Share Posted August 24, 2006 Procedure TogglePref; VAR PrefID:INTEGER; PrefStatus:BOOLEAN; BEGIN PrefID := 9; PrefStatus := GetPref(PrefID); SetPref(PrefID, NOT PrefStatus); Layer(GetLName(ActLayer)); {succeeds where ReDrawAll fails ****} END; Run(TogglePref); Quote Link to comment
0 Christiaan Posted August 24, 2006 Author Share Posted August 24, 2006 Cool, thanks Ray. That's the first time I've ever opened anything to do with VS. Question: when giving it a keyboard shortcut in the Workspace Editor how do I know which keyboard shortcuts aren't already used? Quote Link to comment
0 Ray Libby Posted August 24, 2006 Share Posted August 24, 2006 Workspace Editor will warn you if it is already used and give you a chance to cancel or take it from the other function and use it. Quote Link to comment

0 propstuff Posted August 25, 2006 Share Posted August 25, 2006 (edited) Here's another version from VectorDepot by Katerina Panagiotakis Procedure zoomline; Var p:boolean; BEGIN p:=GetPref(9); If (p=false) then begin SetPref(9,true); end; If (p=true) then begin SetPref(9,false); end; end; RUN ( zoomline ); and another by David Burkhe; Procedure zoom; begin SetPref(9,not GetPref(9)); end; run(zoom); I'm not able to make a judgement about whether one is better than the other. Note you can replace the "9" with the appropriate number for other preferences. Check the vectorscript references on this site for the details. cheers Edited August 25, 2006 by propstuff Quote Link to comment
0 AustinDesignInc Posted August 25, 2006 Share Posted August 25, 2006 Yes, that is a great idea. I regularly switch that preference on/off. I found it helpful to have "Vectorworks Preferences" in my right-click menu. Same thing for "Show Other Objects While in Groups" pref. Quote Link to comment
