2024 Update 1 - VERY CRASHY

I'm having real trouble with 2024 randomly freezing up and shutting. It seems to most often happen when I go form another window of something back to VW. But it also just happens even when staying in VW, after selecting something.  No rhyme or reason.

On Mac, there was a small update 1.1. If available for Windows...

Did you apply this?

Also try to use the repair function within the vectorworks updater application.

Sometimes that fixes misterious things...

On my Mac i have very less random crashes... Maybe 2-3 a week... But not replicapable...

2024 seems unusually slow too.

Perhaps I need to dig into it and figure out how to turn off unnecessary options.

I second this. Even now with additional updates of 2024 it seems much slower and more laggy than the 2023. I tried various settings adjustments, like redraw, 3d shaded options etc but whatever I try the 2024 version seems much slower.

I am so sorry, I forgot to check if there was an answer...

Yes, any update was the same, but the new nVidia driver from February helped a lot.
