Best Way to Get a Vector Graphic into Vectorworks?

I'm trying desperately to find the easiest way to get a vector curve from something like Illustrator or Affinity Designer into Vectorworks. This has become harder since the removal of the EPSF import option.

Have you tried importing a PDF of the object and then ungrouping the PDF?

@Robin Mair It’s not clear what Vectorworks or macOS version you are using, but if you are not using macOS Sonoma, it is possible that you could move the Import EPSF command from the Legacy folder back to your workspace (see below). Not a long term solution as Apple has removed the EPSF functionality from Sonoma and future macOS versions.

In the past I have used pstoedit, as well as online tools like cloudconvert - which is a LOT simpler than pstoedit unless you're okay with cmd line programs.

 

Stupid and arrogant of VW to remove that funtionality - they don't seem to to understand we need and use a very wide range of file formats and tools to make our designs.
