Viewport size warning is wrecking havoc when publishing a set og PDF's

Kaare Baekgaard

Question

Something has changed and  am not sure what.

When I try to publish a multi-page PDF, I get an unwanted size warning, and it is a small disaster, because it stops the publishing process for every sheet and destroys my workflow.

I have searched my settings in vain. How do I stop this calamity?

By the way, the answer to the question is never ever "no", so what is the point?

Best regard, Kaare

Thanks for the answer.

I do not.

I have full page viewports at 216 dpi, but I have used this setting for more than a decade.

I will try to reboot/reinstall unless it is a new "feature"

If that is indeed the case, i will have to revert to an earlier version of the program.

So is it likely to be a "feature"?

Best regards, Kaare

@Kaare Baekgaard This was implemented as an optimization to catch cases when users would attempt to update a raster viewport that might result in a very large image, e.g. if the viewport has a very large scale (much larger than the page bounds) or would otherwise result in an image over 150 Megapixels (actually a full "US Arch E" 36"x48" page at 300 dpi). We left the option to answer "Yes" in case the user knows what they're doing, maybe they're only slightly over the size, or have a massive amount of RAM or VRAM.

Is one or more of your viewports resulting in such a large image?
