Oh yes,

I remember when we made jokes about the nice GUI in the C4D rendered

VW release videos - and VW GUI reality - and then we got new Icons ....

There are literally a 1000 more important things to fix with this software.  The teapot iconography has  a fairly universal understanding and is historically relevant to multiple softwares. 

Someone tackling low-hanging fruit would never be bad as far as most software titles are concerned. 

I can count on one hand the number of Architects, set designers or Landscape Architects I know who got the reference.

 

Can you explain in that context how a rendered post-processed view relates to the clip cube, a working view?

The iconography is terrible, I assumed the new icons were a placeholder required for the dark mode, but would be replaced when the real GUI refresh was done....

 

I know it's technically possible to customize the icons, so maybe the community can work on 3rd party icon packs.  Maybe VW could implement an easy way to implement a 3rd part icon pack.

 

If so, I will start a kickstarter.
