MartinBlomberg
Hi,  Real noob stuff but I must have forgotten this along the way. How do I make the rectangles within the red circle extrude to the roof face? I want to make a somewhat Japanese/Scandinavian style of fence with wooden framing from floor to roof.  Please see the Picasso-style drawing 😃  Many thanks! Martin Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
Project Tool, Add Mode? Although this way you have to do them one at a time I think. An alternative would be to Extrude all of the Rectangles at once then use Split Tool or Subtract Solids or Section Solids to clip the tops of the Extrudes to the shape of the Roof. 2 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post Jeff Prince
If you do a lot of this type of thing, using the Curtain Wall to define the slats and then using "Fit Walls to Object" can be an advantageous...  Once you figure out the interface, the Curtain Wall can be quite useful for a lot of things.  Here's a slat wall fit to a roof  And here is another fit to the underside of a balcony structure. 9 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post Benson Shaw
Doh! Â Jeff beat me to it. Â I've had some fun with curtain walls recently. Â Could work here. Â Make all panels Open to defeat the glass. Â Adjust the frame member dimensions. Â No caps might be best. Â -B Â Edited June 13, 2023 by Benson Shaw unk unks 4 2 Quote Link to comment
