Objects only show when I zoom in or out, they disappear on my design layer

Question

Hello,

I am in VW spotlight 2023, I made a design ouit of 3D objects and it was showing fine before. Then it suddently stopped showing in my design layer. All classes and design layers are set to full visibility. The object vanishes from sight, utill i zoom in or out then it shows like normal for a second before vanishing again. I can hover over the invisible object and it will show up in wireframe when i do this. However I am in shaded and it is not showing up as it should and i need to be able to see my design as i work on it.

Here is a photo example of me hovering over the shape it it showing up as a wireframe even though shaded view is selected, but as soon as i move the mouse cursor off the object it goes invisible again. image.thumb.png.b0161cf067d355ba121541ae606cf968.png

many thanks if you can help this frustrating issue.

Do you have Fill applied to the object in the Attributes Palette?

Yeah solid fill applied to the objects. I just found that i can see objects in design layer 1 but not in any others when i make them active even though visibility is on. Like here i can see and edit V4 technical fine but when i make exploded the active design layer the view reverts back to V4 technical and i can no longer see exploded. image.png.3abe92fc1130e5fc8b1647296179464b.png

This has been a bug for several years now. A variety of problems with things disappearing, most often when in a "container," which is inside the Group Edit mode or, in my case, the Revit Object Edit mode. VW knows about this, but will not fix it. It is very frustrating. You can try various rendering modes; Shaded sometimes works for me, but that is not a good view if you want accuracy. Shaded View has its own set of problems, such as rendering curves. It is a bit of a mess and I don't expect it to be fixed in my lifetime.
