wall door insert into wall drag into not working

Why can't I drag a door into a wall. I can insert from a create similar selection but not by dragging it. I think to remember that there is a setup that allows this but I can't find it.

The Door will only cut the Wall when dragging if the tip of the mouse pointer is inside the wall when it is released.

 

So don't grab the leaf or swing, grab the frame and make sure the pointer is over the wall and you should be ok.

Thank you guys

Had a hard time finding these icons but I found these options once I inserted a window the traditional way. Once I selected the options above they became consistent options.

You're looking at the wrong side of the screen.  With the selection tool selected, look at the tool settings on the top left side of the document window.
