cspraggins
I have a laptop with and without an external monitor. How do I save the tool paletes for the two (2) different setups? 1 Quote Link to comment
0 Pat Stanford
There is not a really good way to do this. The only VW native way to do this is to create two different workspaces. But you will need to remember to switch to the single monitor workspace BEFORE you unplug the external monitor or the palettes will all jump to the internal monitor and then when you switch workspaces those "wrong" locations will be saved and you will have to move them back manually. I think I have seen some third party options to move palettes, but I have not used any of them so I don't remember the names. 1 Quote Link to comment
0 Peter Vandewalle
I used to organise my interface with an Applescript, but that was years ago. It doesn't work anymore. I guess Pat is right (as usual), there's no real soliution. Quote Link to comment
0 Christiaan
Workspace management should be enhanced in some way to deal with this. Perhaps by being able to turn off the auto-saving of palette positions? 1 Quote Link to comment
