But since we started using v2023, I have tried to add our template files to Favorite, and it simply doesn't do anything. It doesn't add them. BUMMER. Quote Link to comment

What steps are you taking to add it to your favourites? There is a quick blip of a window that might be an error message but it's so fast I can't tell what it is. My method: in the Resource Manager, under the Gear icon, I select "Add new favorites files". I select a template file, then I get the "Select destination folder" and the one "option" below is "---Root", so I just select OK. Then there is the extremely brief moment another window is on the screen. Then nothing. Quote Link to comment

When I try to add an STA file, I get similar to what you discribe. With the window that pops up being something about rebuilding the resource library. Make a VWX file from the template and add that as the favorite. Quote Link to comment

Make a VWX file from the template and add that as the favorite. Why can't we add .sta files to the Favorites directory anymore? I had that in v2022, perhaps even v2021. I'd like to keep my templates as templates (or else someone in my office is likely going to start using as a project file and write over it). We should not have to give up the .sta file type in order to get the convenience of Favorites. What we had was a beautiful thing. Anna Quote Link to comment
