Please include the OzCAD Draw Handrails Tool as a Partner Product

The Draw Handrails Tool comes highly recommended by those who have access to it in the Aus/NZ market. It would be great if it could be included as a Partner Product for the rest of us to benefit from in the same way as WinDoor. The ability to send a Draw Handrails object to the surface of a site model would be a particularly welcome addition the workflow of people who regularly draw fences over 3D terrain as the Railing/Fence Tool is not very good at this.

 

If VW have evaluated the tool + decided there are good reasons for not adding it as a Partner Product then it would be great to know what those reasons are.

You'll be pleased to know there is a new Fence tool coming. I don't know if it's derivative of the OzCAD one or not but Biplap was talking about the Railing/Fence tool in his address at Design Day UK yesterday. He was a little derisive of the current Railing/Fence tool, pointing out that it's more of a railing tool than a fence tool. So they're working on a separate Fence tool. He also confirmed that it will be capable of following the terrain.

 

In terms of when, I think he said this, clear as mud, haha:

"So these are some of the things we're currently working on and I'm not saying they're going to be there in 2024, but, ah, a version of Vectorworks, but they'll be there in some of the future versions."

Not quite an immediate solution as releasing the OzCAD tool is but good to know it's in the pipe line.
