Kevin K
...and so begins 2023 issues... I have an iMac Pro, Radeon Pro Vega 64. 64 gigs of Ram, running OS Monterey. I received this error message when attempting to use Redshift to render a viewport. I downloaded the trial version, for this very reason before purchasing 2023. Always a good idea to take a little test drive, in my experience. Worked fine in VW 2022. I am totally clueless where one would find where to tweak these options? Link to comment
rDesign
Here’s a another thread with a similar Redshift error, maybe @Dave Donley’s suggestions in that thread will help. 1 Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Dave Donley Posted September 21, 2022 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 21, 2022 Hello @Kevin K If this is a sheet layer, lower the sheet layer DPI to reduce the number of pixels that are being rendered. The Indirect Lighting options also affect this but I assume you want indirect lighting in your rendering. There isn't yet a better message for this when it happens, and reducing the number of pixels being rendered is the only workaround at the moment. 1 Link to comment
