unearthed
So I'm importing some aerials for a job there's 20 of them, whether I reference or import I have to click Okay for each one, I've been doing this since 2005, surely there's a way using e.g. Marionette (or a script) to avoid this tedium. I get new images for this site quite often so this wastes a lot of time. Has anyone else solved this, coz I know I'm not the only one doing large sites. 1 Quote Link to comment
Andy Broomell
Agreed - I have an Enhancement Request on file for this exact wish. VE-102418. 1 Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
Yes. I also wish that there was fewer import commands (not fewer import options). Why can't Vectorworks figure out what you're trying to import from the file extension. Do we really need separate import commands for graphics files and PDFs for example? Andy Broomell
Thankfully dragging and dropping on top of an open document seems to always automatically trigger the correct import type. Makes you wonder why there isn't just a unified "File > Import" command that shows the relevant options once you choose the file you want to import. 2 Quote Link to comment

An 'OK for All' button would help. 1 Quote Link to comment

I'm hoping some clever person will come along and say it's doable via Marionette or michaelk says it could be scripted. Quote Link to comment
