Kiwi. You using VAA title blocks or Drawing Border. Do you have VA Australia+NZ. If not then you may have to go to the plugins folder and edit the VA TB Resources.mcd Not too sure as I've Installed the VA Aus+NZ and it has overwritten the VA. If you in NZ suggest getting the VA Aus+NZ from Ozcad or ask Megabits. Don't think changing your system date will work.

You can change line wieghts on the Detailer Tool Object Info - Pen Thick 1 & Pen Thick 2 For default suggest editing the preferences at the begining after selecting the detailer tool icon. Alas your limited to 1.0mm pen thick. If your game and stiil needing 0.3mm you can edit the parameters using script editor under organize. Find Detailer Tool. Select parameter. Select Pen Thick 2. Select Options. Add 0.03 and then select it for default value. Restart. Hope that helps. Note most tools have parameters where you can edit the default values. Learnt this from the window topic.

Small request to add to the existing dimension Object Info. Want to be able to edit text size, font etc. i.e. whats on the bottom half of the text object info

BG. Also you can import to layers rather than classes. They all then come under one (import) class. Find scanning through layers using command/apple arrows with layer active only a quick way to browse layers.

Even worse if the survey you've imported has spot levels split in two for example 60.90 is in two parts 60 90. Rotating with text corected will not help.

I'd rather have a print manager that would access all my worksheets + diffrent files and be able to change printing attributes - multi of course. I think it would be easier to change your default print settings Grant using Printer Setup Utility >>Preferrences.

VW11.5 OSX10.3.3 I use Command/Apple squiggle (above tab) to toggle betwen drawings and Command/Apple Tab to toggle between applications. Is that what your after?

Why not use the worksheet to create your C size drawing. If you want it on a seperate file then workgroup ref. it.

Lol. did I wait through the weekend for that advise.. that was the first thing I did...search the topics. My need is as per above. Unless I need to (1) go though all the dulux paints and add them to individual squares..and print them then forget it... Create color chart is good but it will only do the active color palette. Editing not helpful either since import only imports colors from other vw files. and going through dulux colors and editting is going back to 1 Color menus under the Utilities are'nt helpfull either. So if anyone who has a suggestion/idea on how to what I need your help is very much appreciated. If not then I guess thats something I cant do in VW ..then I'll wait until the next upgrade... Forget about going to another software or sim. to print out the list. Either I can do it on Vw or not at all.

Hi Everyone Does anyone know how to quickly create a color palatte from the 'Create Custome Colour' colours on VW so that I can colour printout. I know theres a spreadsheet with the SMYK Numbers in the Plugins folder. Is there a quck way of using this to produce a color palatte. Using VW11.5 on OSX10.3 Thanks

Can the perforated mask texture method apply to a curved wall with thickness. End can be given a texture too. Just a thought.

URL Links are a good idea. Especially when we move away from hardcopies to onscreen viewing. I looked at 'Set URL & Goto URL' from VectorDepot..works fine if that's what your looking for. But what I wish for is to be able to link references to files. E.g click on a Detail references from a section (for e.g.) and the detail drawing is opened. That'll be cool..and will move towards hand held monitor/viewing etc....

Think Existing Should be on a layer of its own. Once its drawn no need to touch it. Then just copy to demo and toggle bet ween New and Demo Layer. Unless Existing is changing...

Autocad users who are vectorwork converts are always asking for pt2pt copy....

Bruce. All of the worksheet functions need to be upgraded to excel standards. Its been long time comin. There should be a worksheet commision formed to lobby this.

Ha. While I was posting my reply I was trying the postscript method under the 'output option'. Somehow the output files I got was - the first file was a postscript and the rest were pdfs consecutively numbered. Tried it again and it works as above. Thinking of naming my first Sheet layer with a 0. Export batch would be nice.......

Just upgraded from V11 to V11.5. Wheres the PDF batch print? I could batch print to pdf (using osx) with VW11 and then stitch them up to one pdf file with Acrobat. That was frustrating enough. But some one took that away. Not Funny. Going through all the post above but nothing seems to help.
