One of our biggest strength/weakness hybrids is the breadth of things a user can do in just Vectorworks. It is at once both really useful to have so many disparate tools within one application and difficult to maintain/improve them all together. I think there will always be specialized software that can beat us at any one task, but often when comparing Vectorworks to alternatives, multiple software packages are required in order to match what can be done in Vectorworks alone. "Jack of all trades a master of none" definitely applies to a large portion of what we do, which is both good and bad. (I like mostly that it never gets boring working with it.)

Agreed, however don't worry or hold back about submitting wishlist requests in an area that you already feel could use more basic improvements or because you want to see things requested previously added first. The order they correct issues and add new features is hand picked and not always related to the order in which the bugs were files or the features requested, a lot of the decisions are made based on inter-dependencies with other projects going on internally.

I have seen that on occasion when switching between multi-monitor setups to just one and back again with Vectorworks still running, but not just with one monitor. My machines are already updated to 10.9.5, I'll see if I can find an older one to test.

Confirmed here as well, submitting now. Doesn't seem to matter about the quality (render mode) or quantity (time) of the animation, it cuts off at 12 right after you click Done.

I'll test now, I hadn't gone past 8 or so in my testing personally.

1) That sounds like you have two different versions installed, one that IS in the c: \ programms \ Vectorworks2015 folder and the shortcut is linked elsewhere. 2) Haven't been able to lock down a general lag cause so far, I have only been able to replicate a few of the very specific scenarios that lag for users.

Confirmed. Also confirmed the bizarre slow text entry when editing space fields either you or another user mentioned earlier, submitting both issues now.

I have had mine get stuck with multiple versions of Vectorworks installed as well. Either your procedure or something similar are what I do to un-stick it. (I thought it was just related to us but I get it for PSDs and SKPs sometimes now too.) I have also had luck resetting Finder via the Onyx system utility, but that's a bit heavier of a hammer. The section under Automation > Rebuilding > "Appearance of Folders Content" and "Spotlight Index".

Glad you like it! If you minimize the drawing window to the dock rather than switching apps directly, do you see the same behavior? Trying to replicate it here now.

I was not able to replicate this in a test file, could you email me the file it happened in please? Also, include in the email whatever the changes were you made to the spaces specifically.
