How to remove a truss pick-up symbol from a hoist?

In the past, I thought I would just select nothing in the symbol picker, and it would be removed.

 

I could uncheck the box "Show pick-up symbol" but my worksheet would still count the gear.

 

I'm sure I'm forgetting something super obvious because I'm a little rusty but how do I do this?

Have you tried replacing with a completely new hoist?

 

I am having the same issue, once you select a symbol I can't find a way to go back without re-inserting the hoist.

Deleting the Hoist is the only options I have found for this

If you are using VW2023 there is now a "No Symbol" option in the Truss Picks folder. This will allow you to remove the truss pick without disconnecting the hoist.
