Saved Views Edit to include Render Mode

Hi,

Unless I have missed it somewhere... would it be possible to add an additional column to the edit save views dialogue so that you can see/set the render mode to multiple views in one go?

I have 20 saved views currently set to wireframe, but want to set them to open GL, and possibly later set to a renderworks option. This would seem an ideal place to have that option.

 

At the moment I am recalling each view, changing the render settings and redefining.

Try using the eyedropper tool to pick up render settings from the first VP, and then drop on the others.  Make sure you have the correct the appropriate "Viewport Properties" checked in the tool settings.

I think he was referring to Saved Views, not Viewports, and he's correct that unfortunately there's no way to change the saved render mode en masse, that I know of.

On a similar note...

 

When selecting a Saved View, one that includes Render Mode and Options settings, does this change the settings in the Lighting Options Dialog to reflect that specific Saved View ?

 

It would be nice to Edit the Render Mode and Options settings in the Organization Pallet / Saved Views
