greenmeadow
Any clue as to why I can't edit the Classic Vectorworks colors palette anymore . Quote Link to comment
zoomer
Ahm, did that make sense to edit the default tables ? Wouldn't it be better to duplicate those first and edit them as a custom palette ? (There is a risk that they get overwritten by updates ?) Would that work ? EDIT : Sorry, I see you already selected classic VW and even duplicate is grayed out. Initially I thought you selected active document colors, as the text was bold. But I think it would even make sense to edit/change colors used in document. Edited February 3, 2021 by zoomer Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
It looks like all of the "default" color palettes are now locked. Click the New button to create a new palette. Click Edit. From the Edit Palette dialog box click the Get button. Select the palette you want to duplicate. From the Pick Colors dialog box select all of the colors in the right hand pane (Command-A to select all). Click the OK button. Click Edit. Select the color you want to Edit. Click Edit. Edit as you see Fit. OK. OK. File a Bug/Wish to have the Duplicate button for palettes work even on the default palettes. Quote Link to comment
