Vectorworks, Inc Employee Dave Donley Posted December 22, 2005 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted December 22, 2005 Hello Grant: If this is version 12, any textures in the default libraries texture files will automatically be added to the texture menu. This is a feature. Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
How can I control the default libraries? Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
you have to move files around in the library folder of VectorWorks. If you move the files in the Libraries\Defaults\Renderworks - Textures\ folder then you should be able to control the default textures. Even better, you could put your own textures in this folder for ultimate control Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
My template file contains about 30 textures. Over the course of working on a new project I'll usualy delete about 3/4 of those and bring in/create a few more. The texture drop down box in the render pane of the OIP won't get rid of the names of the textures that started the file however. So I'm stuck with this really long list of textures that don't even exist in the file..... Quote Link to comment
