0 bcd Posted February 29, 2020 Share Posted February 29, 2020 3d Symbols - that have Symbol Options>Insert in Walls (I know) turned on can be dropped into a Roof Face. Take a look @ some of the skylight objects in the Resource Manager. When placing it you will be offered the option to place as a Dormer Window or a skylight. You can change this by clicking on the blue handle at the bottom of the window-in-rooface and selecting edit (as) dormer or edit (as) skylight. 1 Quote Link to comment
0 Pat Stanford Posted February 29, 2020 Share Posted February 29, 2020 If you are not looking for Skylights, but something more like solar panels use the Set Working Plane tool to make the working plane the same as the roof face then then draw/model what you need. If you use the Look At Working Plane button in the top bar you can work in basically a "2D" mode parallel to the roof face. 2 Quote Link to comment
