cberg
Is there a function or script that would enable you automatically rename viewports? This would be helpful when you renumber sheets and all the viewports retain the old sheet numbers. Better yet. Is there a way to make is information auto-updating. Thx, Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Viewports could be renamed using a script, but you would have to fully document what the current names are and what the new names should be before anyone will even consider working on such a script. Based on all the different naming I see from different people, it is likely that this would have to be a custom script just for you. Quote Link to comment
cberg
That makes sense. Maybe the functionality needs to be programmed into the object info dialogue box . The checkbox that reads Name Viewport as Dwg No./Sheet, should have an update function. Edited January 19, 2018 by cberg Quote Link to comment
Boh
There is a script that will take selected SLVP(s) and change the name to Sheet # [space] Drawing # [space] Drawing Title. I find it really useful. Quote Link to comment
