Active Def

Hi Reading help file to refresh things and read;

"●    To use an existing window resource, click Active Def on the Tool bar. From the Resource Selector, locate the desired resource, and double-click to activate it."

What is Active Def?

I would read it as active definition.

The Window Type/Source that is currently defined/chosen.

And Yes when you click a window from tool bar the Active Def is next to the window selection slot.

So Alan, now you made me look at catalog windows for the first time

 

There aren't a lot of accessible individual parameters to control.

Especially I was surprised to have locked Classes and everything set to Window Class.

While it works, it will not allow my typical PIO MainClass + ComponentClasses

Visibility Control.

 

And will these also work with your advanced WinDoor Tool ?

@Zoomer Hi, I believe you can change all those parameter by recreating the style, cant remember exactly and am keen to get away from the old way and test and get the most out of what this new workflow offers. I am the problem at present and when i fully understand how it all works or not then i may complain, until then its me thats the problem.

Yes, catalogs are new for me too.

But Styles work very well here.

Couldn't live without these anymore.
