Ideally, it would be great to have a smart viewport numbering system that automatically updates as the viewports change (as they inevitably do). That's a lot to ask for, and as a result, I'm not expecting to see that anytime soon.
In the meantime, it would be great if the talented programmers at VW could make a minor tweak to a setting in the Create Viewport dialogue box. The sheet number should be listed before the drawing number so that the viewports display more logically in list view. (It is more important to have elements from a sheet grouped together than all viewports with the number 1 in them.)
Also if things needed to be edited one can more quickly make a manual change with the drawing number at the end.
