I would like to be able to do the following with the OIP:

- Copy & Paste values from the Permitter & Area of a Polygon or Rectangle

- Alter the size a Polygon or Rectangle by typing the desired result into either the Area or the Permitter of a selected object

- Scale a Polygon or Rectangle by directly typing a Scale factor. (Think of this like what can be done to a Symbol eliminating the "Scale Object step")

Yes! All of it.

All info areas in the OIP should have extract options.

I'm surprised that the area and perimeter are not yet data fields. There is the problem that many shapes can have a particular area or perimeter. But, a few assumptions could be built in, eg keying a new value into the (wished for) area or perimeter field offsets (same process as the offset tool) the shape by proper amount to match the new area/perimeter value. Other modes could be added, eg rescale x only, or pick a base line to stay same, or ???

And oip scale factor or at least aspect locking should be an option - wished for by many over many Vectorworks versions. Current fields can do math, so the scale can be accomplished with several clicks and keys. But saving a few steps on this common process should be in the software.
