AlanW
Hi, Has this node been fixed, or has anyone got it to work??? I have never been able to get it to work. Quote Link to comment
Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted April 17, 2016 Marionette Maven Share Posted April 17, 2016 I don't think there will be a fix for it in 2016. I tried writing a workaround, but haven't been successful. Quote Link to comment
Kevin McAllister
I'm curious about how something like this makes it through a development process into a release. The vs.mirror command doesn't even exist as far as I can tell from the VS function reference page. I'm assuming that's why the node doesn't work. Kevin Quote Link to comment
STERNontwerp
Scale with an 'Point2' of -1 seems to work. There's no need for a mirror node. Ernst Quote Link to comment
STERNontwerp
'Point2' x=1,y=-1 to be exact Quote Link to comment
Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted April 18, 2016 Marionette Maven Share Posted April 18, 2016 (edited) I'm not seeing your solution work, but maybe I'm missing something. I also think it wouldn't be optimal for the case where you want to mirror across a different axis. EDIT: Nevermind. I do see a possible use for this. I had to change my case to (-1, 1) though, due to the shape I was mirroring. But I'll still have to look into obscure angles. Edited April 18, 2016 by MarissaF Quote Link to comment
