AdamParboosingh
Hello all. Just wondering if there is a symbol for the ETC ColorSource Spot for Vectorworks yet? Or is the CE Source Fours folder representing the ColorSource collection? Thanks in advance. Adam Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee chollandVW Posted March 7, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 7, 2016 That is a library currently in development. It should be out on VSS with the next release. Quote Link to comment
RickR
The ColorSource spot is physically very close to standard Source4 fixture. You can set the beam and field angles as needed. I've never been religious about matching symbols, probably because I was trained with paper and template with 12 outlines. The only remaining issue is it's overall light output. The simple answer is to not depend on VW calcs for brightness. (I never do!) Or you can copy that symbol and edit the brightness. There is a good support video on making your own fixture symbols. Benjamin Weill
If anyone is interested, these are the ones that I made: https://www.dropbox.com/s/y6nsfh6hmb93szv/ETC-COLORSOURCE-BW.vwx?dl=0 Quote Link to comment
MrTemplate
Hi folks; I worked for some weeks last summer updating the entire ETC library, with the assistance and support of the nice folks from ETC. In August I released the ETC 3.8 object library. Of course, they've gone ahead and released even more nifty doo-dads, so i intend to update the library again after USITT. In the meantime, however, you can see gif images of all the symbols on the Field Template website. http://www.fieldtemplate.com/soft/down_etc_frame.html all the best, Steve Shelley shelley@fieldtemplate.com plug> Quote Link to comment
