Phil hunt Posted November 2, 2015 Share Posted November 2, 2015 have just drawn a handrail path in elevation and then did an extrude along path of a 50mm circle when i did the extrude the handrail disappeared from the front elevation and is now sat on the floor and is not on the elevation is this to do with the working plane any help would be appreciated Quote Link to comment
AlanW Posted November 2, 2015 Share Posted November 2, 2015 Hi, No this should not happen. I drew a line and a floor to check that it did not drop. Moved the line above the zero working plane level, went into front view and extruded along path and the object stayed at the same level. Quote Link to comment
bcd Posted November 2, 2015 Share Posted November 2, 2015 If your path object is a screen plane object the resulting EAP will be on the floor. Change it in the OIP to a Layer plane object before running the EAP command. Quote Link to comment
