Class/Layer description visibility

Question

It is possible to give a description of a class or layer in the class/layer manager.

However it only seems to be visible when hovering over the class or layer in the organisation dialog window or in the navigation palette.

It would be nice if it would be directly visible as a column in both the organisation dialog window and the navigation palette instead of having to hover over each class/layer.

And if possible also an option to show a description popup when hovering over a class/layer in the class selection dropdown menu in the main menu bar as well.

Once in a while I run into a project description that also defines the drawing layers (classes) by numbers only. Then it would be nice if the class/layer descriptions could be directly visible instead of of hunting through the numbers by hovering over them until you find the matching description.

I am fairly certain I have requested this as well, it makes good sense. Will add this thread to that request.

If you are talking about a class legend .

Showing the class description as well has been a request from one of my clients and is scheduled for the next release.

Bump

It seems the original and subsequent comments/requests have not yet been implemented, hence resubmitting the request.

Its 2018, next year.. please make this into v2019..

I still dont see the reason why the new class editing, has a whole tab, dedicated to only the Descripiton.. what UI design intent is this?

No hating, seriously would like to know. :)
