bcd
I'm not sure if this has been covered already but prior to VW 2013 it was possible to set the Opacity of a Viewport. Can this be restored? Quote Link to comment
0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted February 25, 2014 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 25, 2014 I am able to control the viewports opacity only via class now, not via the object itself, you are correct. However I just went back as far as VectorWorks 12.5.3 and can not see direct opacity control via the attributes palette on any viewports I select. Do you know which version you last saw this in? In any case I'll submit it as an enhancement request. Quote Link to comment
0 bcd
I remember it being possible -and I had stacked viewports with alternate cropping to express a design. I think it may happened by accident - maybe as recently as VW2012 or 2013. Quote Link to comment
0 BG
I see this dates back to 2014. Where did the enhancement request get to? It would be useful. Quote Link to comment
0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted May 8, 2018 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted May 8, 2018 This may be a bug. I have it marked here as working in 2015 again, and then no longer working in 2016 SP1 and SP2. It isn't working for me now in 2018 SP3, ill bump the bug report and the wishlist item both. 0 Andy Broomell
This would be incredibly useful. Surprised to see the ability used to exist; I've never been able to change the opacity of the viewport in recent memory. 1 Quote Link to comment
