M5d
I found this software (PixPlant) for creating seamless textures. It looks good, anyone using it or know of any alternatives worth checking out? Quote Link to comment
jeffroyer
M5d - You can use Photoshop (yeah, a lot more expensive if you don't already have it) to do a very good job of creating seamless textures. I have not looked very closely at Pixplant software - they may have created a more "automated" product as you do have to do a bit of work with Photoshop. If you own Photoshop and need some tips, let me know. Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
I took a look. Great for tiling and faster than photoshop. I like that it can make specular maps and normal maps and all that. I don't like...that renderworks can't make any use of them. Quote Link to comment
M5d
I don't have photoshop, probably should, but I've purchased Pixplant now and it works great. Looks like we will be able to use the other maps it produces inside VW soon. Quote Link to comment
