Dump the 2010 Help System

Dear Nemetschek,

I could go on and on talking about how bad the "new" help system is in 2010, but I'm confident that if you have used it on a Mac, you already know this. Please change it.

I would agree. I much prefer the old browser based system over Adobe Air.

i still prefer the old "Door Stop" format that used to be supplied with VW. A page turning joy.

Still had trouble finding answers but the index meant if it was there, one could find it. . . . . . . .

As comes to saving trees etc., I'm confident that offset printing the manuals is quite a lot cheaper and ecological than using office printers.

The 1800 pages (excluding VectorScript Guide) would consume nearly half of the rated capacity of my colour laser cartridges and a set costs about 400 ?.

I agree, survival of the "Lesser Spotted Tree Hugger" is essential, but it would be nicer if the "Help" helped.

Releasing the manual with an open license that allows bulk printing by third parties wouldn't cost NNA squat and would help users.

Exactly, dear brudgers, exactly!

The shocking cost and deliberate waste of trees caused by ?local? printing can't be justified by an attempt to save trees.

Printing the 1800 pages with my famous colour laser would, especially in the tree-saving duplex mode, take quite a few hours at quite a few W/h.

So, the open licence should only apply to offset printing.

Roll the manuals up and stick them in a plan rack.

I, for one, don't really need a printed manual. I would, however, like help that helped. I'm finding the "new" system with VW2010 NOT helpful. Search for The "old" browser-based help worked just fine for me. NNA, Please fix this.
