Exporting VW 2010 to 12

Is there any way to export a file created in 2010 to a version 12 file?

Vw 2010 will export back to Vw 12.

My export menu does not have this option (I can only export to 2009 and 2008).

I'm using 2010 SP1 Academic Version, but I'm not sure why this would affect this.

Try editing the workspace and see if you can add it.

Try a different workspace.

I know the license for the academic version of VW12 was different, so that might be the reason.

I just tried that. In the workspace editor the only option available is export to VW 2009. In the current workspaces there is a blanket "export minicad" menu which seems to enable exporting to 2008 and 2009.

So I guess what I am seeing from other 2010 users is that export to version 12 is easily available from the normal File/Export menu?

Perhaps my next call is to tech support.

nbkoli what you are seeing is correct:

- the Professional versions will export back to Vw 12, Vw 2008 and Vw 2009.

- the Academic version only exports back to Vw 2008 and Vw 2009
