Markus Barrera-Kolb
Is it possible to get elevations out of my 3D model that include siding patterns if I don't have Renderworks, and if so, how? I'm just diving into using a full model to generate the elevations and sections (still have a long way to go on those), and I'm definitely fighting the learning curve -- and that's after having gotten pretty proficient at working in 2D. Thanks! Cheers, Markus Quote Link to comment
bcd
I'm not too sure what's available without Renderworks, Of course you can always create the siding profile and extrude as needed, but it seems like there must be easier ways. Quote Link to comment
MKingsley
Hatches will work for straight on elevations but not for isometrics or perspectives. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
have you seen this podcast? it might help http://web.me.com/jpickup1/Site/podcasts/Entries/2007/9/16_047_-_Line_Textures_on_Elevations.html Quote Link to comment
CARMELHILL
I might be mistaken, but i thought you could still do them with Open Gl renders. See my attached rendering of an elevation I am working on. Quote Link to comment
