It does not print

VW 2008 / SP 1

scanned a survey, imported as a jpeg, created a VP, I can see it in my monitor, but the jpeg image prints blank (only annotations I've added print).

Pls advise

Check and up the DPI in the sheet layer and see if that works-as a start.

Maybe try importing it as a PDF (or other image file) instead.

You can also try the tick in the print dialogue box which says "Enable special processing for transparent colour bitmaps".

tried ALL VW print options with no luck, actually got to print a distorted pixelated UNUSABLE image using rasterized option and screen resolution option

sheet is at 300 dpi

Have you tried printing using only the "Print patterns at on screen resolution" setting?

How many pixels is the image?

What is the exact printer you are trying to print to?

yes, I tried ALL VW print options

image is JPEG, 2095KB, printer is EPSON STYLUS PHOTO 1270

prints fine in VW 12.5.1...

This smacks of a need to reinstall the proper version of QuickTime, I think. Give that a try.

I understand you've tried all the settings, but have you tried them together, or singularly?

I'd like you to try printing ONLY using Print Patterns at On Screen Resolution.

Can you print the image on a regular design layer?

I'll also agree with Robert here - make sure you have the latest version of QuickTime.

You may also want to try to remove and add the printer back. You can also try the "repair printer" setting in the Printer interface.

If you have an urgent issue, the best option is to contact Tech Support and work through the issue with them.

I, personally, have been traveling a great deal over the past month (and will continue to do so for the next) with VectorFest and related events and trade shows. I've had good success with problem pages by exporting the entire printing sheet to an image file, with the resolution at about 120 dpi or higher. Then I just print the image file. May sound like a poor workaround, but it gets your prints out the door.
