Adam Britt
How do you go about drawing a raked stage, in Vectorworks? I can't figure out for the life of me how to 2 (or even 1) sides higher than the other two Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted September 14, 2007 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 14, 2007 The simplest way to make a raked stage is to draw the section in a side view and then extrude it. If you need to make a more complex rake then convert the extrude into 3D polies and reshape the 3D poly. Another trick you can use if it's simple rake is to use the Create Roof command. Cris with no H
A roof plane is OK, but doesn't cut a section correctly. A simple extrude is often easiest, at least cuts a solid section correctly, and - probably most important - doesn't get in the way of marquee selecting when dealing with the other scenic elements. Just my personal feelings on this one. Quote Link to comment
