Cut 3D section

I have upgraded to VW Architect 12. the Cut 3D Section command is not listed under the "model" pulldown like it was in VW 11. Where is Cut 3D and 2D section commands located in VW 12? Thanks in advance.

You will need to add it to your workspace using the workspace editor. It's easy. FYI there is a also a new "create section viewport" command in 12.

Question. Once you get into the work space editor, from where do you get the cut 2D and 3D commands to add these to the work space. They don't appear to be listed anywhere?

really try to use the Create Section ViewPort, it will create a live 3D section (or 2D section). When you change the model the sections can be updated easily.

But if you really want to get the Cut 3D and cut 2D sections you should find them in the All Menus... that?s where I always look when I can?t think where they put it

Yes, as Jonathan said, look in ALL MENUS where they are listed ALPHABETICALLY.

BTW, is the construction industry as over-the-top busy in your neck of the woods as here in the Upper Rockies? One of our designers just turned in 60 hours. . .and left at noon Friday. Our field crews are loving the overtime, but can't remember the last time they saw their kids with the sun up. And I'm still working Sat pm.

I guess we borrow the old farmers' saw: you make hay while the sun shines.

Hi Travis. Things were like that here for the last couple years, but now it seems to be slowing down. I still have plenty of work, but not so much that I feel overwhelmed (most of the time). BTW, I didn't mean to raise my voice. My finger must have slipped :-)
