We cannot work with homeoffice on Vectorworks because the de-licence button does not work

Question

Our team works on desktop computers. But each person has the opportunity to work from home 1 time a month. We have just bought 3 macbook pro's of varying power.  Depending on the size of the project, a person can take home one of the weak/medium/power laptops.  We have set up separate accounts for each of our team in each of the 3 different macbook pro's.

Vectorworks recognises that each user on a computer is a separate licence, which is logical. One licence can be assigned to a maximum of 2 computers this is also logical.
We want to install Vectorworks on 4 computers for each user after installation we want to deactivate the licence . The problem is that the deactivate licence button does not work:
In Vectorworks > Vectorworks Preferences > Sessions > Seril Number there is a button 'Remove' but it is not possible to give OK. The programme requires another replacement Serial to be entered. Which makes no sense, because if there is no licence, Vectorworks cannot be switched on.

Only Vectorworks doesn't work this way. In any other programme where we have a licence it can be deactivated via the internet.

Please give me a hint on how to deactivate the licences from the computer.

What you want to do does not match up well with what I understand is the VW licensing policy.

The simplest, but most expensive, option would be to purchase an additional license for each of the laptops.

The better option would be to contact VW customer support or technical support directly and see what they suggest.

The forum is for user to user support and since what you want does not work with what I know about the policy, it is unlikely that anyone here will be able to provide you with a solution.
