Chame_liam
Just a quick workflow question today Does anyone use the ability to class things in sheet layers? Given I'm creating my paperwork here, I've never really understood what the benefit would be in my industry. More so I often find myself searching for things that I swear I've done that I've lost to a hidden class. Or better yet, doing them again only to find the duplicate later. I personally just find it easier to set everything to none 1 Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
See this recent thread on the matter: I generally have everything in None on Sheet Layers too, except the odd occasion I've done a key/legend + needed to class geometry to set the attributes. 1 Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Like @Tom W. I try to keep everything in the None class on sheet layers with a few exceptions: Graphic division lines that divide the page for clarity. Those are in their own class to make controlling the graphic attributes simpler. Revision Clouds are in their own classes by revision number. I used to class title blocks by phases of the project for sheet index organization. But now I usually just attach a record format to each title block. And avoid projects with phases. unearthed
Anything I only use in sheets is in its own class, this is my core set although any one drawing only ends up using about half of them. A Quote Link to comment
