Bruce Kieffer
Where is Vectorworks picking up all of these records as options for worksheet record criteria? I know many are records I created at some point, but others are not. I'd like to eliminate the ones I know I don't need. Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
I believe VW is listing the Records present in the file. So either your own custom Record Formats or hidden ones associated with objects you've brought into the file. As such, in a new blank file the list will be empty. Obviously redundant custom records can be purged from your file + you can also purge 'special record formats' to get rid of some of the hidden ones but I'm not sure how you get rid of every last one of them... (if you're really determined to do so!) 1 Quote Link to comment
Bruce Kieffer
I purged the "special" records. That got rid of most of them. I still see a few that don't look like records I created. I will search more later. Thanks @Tom W.. Edited October 22, 2023 by Bruce Kieffer Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Effectively, each different PIug-in Object (PIO) had a "Parameter Record" attached. So that is why you are getting the Door, Window, Hole-Drilled-3D, PDF Page and maybe some of the others. There is no way I know of to remove the PIO parameter records or to hide them in the list without Converting every instance of each PIO type into a Group. But then you lose all of the adjustability that they offer as PIOs. 1 Quote Link to comment
