2024 migration question - tool set icons overwritten in migrated 2023 workspace.

The snazzy new 2024 tool set icons got over written for workspaces that I brought in from 2023.

 

Is there anyway I can keep my old workspaces but get the fancy new icons?

The tool icons were not affected and are the new 2024 versions

Here are the 2024 ToolSet icons.  You should be able to add them in the Workspace manager.

So many people have said that to mitigate the risk of corruption you should NEVER migrate Custom Workspaces + always rebuild them from scratch for each new version. Be interested to know if others disagree with this advice as it's certainly a pain doing so (tool icon issues aside 🙂).

Thank you ! Quick question, the toolset icons need two sets, the low res version and the @2x version. Would you happen to have the 2x version by any chance as well? Otherwise they cannot be applied

It looks like the icon system has been changed in 2024.  See

...maybe a stupid question - where is the workspace manager?

 

I couldn't find fonts in the 'workspace editor' or the 'workspaces' menu.

In the default Architect menus it's at Tools menu->Workspaces->Workspaces...  Recommendation is not to edit a default Workspace.  Duplicate, rename, edit.

Tools tab not Menus, then look for 'Image...' buttons for each of the Tool Sets.
