Reverting to previous service pack?

Is it possible to roll back to a previous service pack?

SP7 is hanging and crashing during data tag edits.

 

EDIT: I googled it and there are mentions of using the Updater. 

No luck with that.

No options for going backwards.

Try deleting your User folder and then let Vectorworks create a new one when you restart it.

In Vectorworks Preferences under the User Folders tab there is a Reveal in Finder button.

Won't that delete all my interface preferences etc?

 

I found it and this was the stuff in it. Do I really want to delete all of that!?!?

I don't want to 'reset preferences'  just roll back to a previous version.

If you use the Vectorworks Updater application in your Vw 2023 application folder you can choose which version of SP you want to roll back to.

 

'Change Version' is Hidden for some reason, so you have to hold down the Alt / Option Key when clicking Advanced Options in order to be able to do this.

 

1) Click on Advanced Options while holding down the Alt / Option Key:

 

2) At the bottom of the Advanced Options pop-up there is 'Change Versions', click on that and then choose the version you want to roll-back to::
