Error loading Vision Library

I have installed Vectorworks 2022 onto the machines in our teaching lab. However I am getting the ‘Error loading Vision Library’ message on start up. I ran the Vectorworks 2022 Updater – Advanced Options – Repair. After doing so I got the message: ‘An unknown error has occurred. Please contact technical support.’ 

 

Machine details:

 

OS: macOS 13.3.1

Chip: Apple M1 Max 

RAM: 32 GB

 

Any advice appreciated.

I'm not a MacOS user but I have seen the Vision library error,

Typically a machine reboot solves the problem. 

Second step: rename your preferences folder and let VW recreate the preferences. 

Third Step, contact your VW vendor for Technical support.

I had this ‘Error loading Vision Library!’ issue with Vw2023 on MacOS and I was able to fix it by following the instructions on the following page (it has instructions for both Windows and MacOS).

 

But I don’t know if it will fix that second error you got after running the Updater.
