"Get 3D Info" node gives an error

Hi all,

 

The Get 3D Info node seems to have a bug. I made a very simple Marionette Network with only one 3D object (extrude) and it gives the following error:

 

Is this a bug or did I do something wrong?

If you double click on that node and hit OK and then run again, does the error persist?

I updated to VW 2023 SP4 this morning.

I'm seeing the exact same issue and solution.

Actually, it's worse, as I investigated further. If I connect my Obj node to Get 3D Info it returns the error below. It's an infinite loop so when I click Close or Select Node it comes straight back up until I force quit the software. If I first double click and OK the Get 3D Info node and then debug the network everything freezes and I have to force quit VW again.

I tend to stick to the latest, in this case 2023 SP4 (Build 693289).

Hello everyone, is there any update regards the Get 3D info node? i also get errors using it

same bug for me (since a few months?)

I just deleted everything I didn't needed inside the node (for example: I just needed volume) then it worked fine 🙂
