Better PDF optimisation

Christiaan

Question

Whenever I produce PDFs of rendered viewports, I export them with no file size reduction and then compress them on iLovePDF.com , because iLovePDF produces superior quality to file-size ratio. It's a pain but it's worth the hassle.

To get rid of the hassle part can VW either copy iLovePDF or buy them.

Strongly agree.

PDF exports are a pain and have a disproportionate effect on user experience as this problem always crops up when you're trying to sent a pack of information out, usually to a deadline. You're already stressed about the deadline and then VW hands you a 30mb PDF that you can't email. PDF size becomes the most important thing in the world all of a sudden and Vectorworks is to blame (in that moment).

yes!

Also, at the same time as sorting out file sizes can we sort out the problem of colours changing during PDF exports.
