Plant data and tag information greyed out in Object Info

I am working in Vectorworks landmark 2023 and have encountered a couple of problems I have not seen in previous versions. Using a plant symbol from the vectorworks library, the plant data and tag information are all greyed out in the object info palette - meaning there is no option to display plant tag data attributed to the symbol in my drawing.

 

Another odd one - on the symbols where the data tag is showing, it is locked in the vertical plane...can' figure out how to move it!

I have this same issue!! Have never encountered this prior to today!
Anyone have any info?

Edit the plant style and change the desired setting from “by style” to “by instance” if you want to individually change the setting via the OIP.  If you want to globally change a setting fo it in the style settings.

Did this fix it? I have the same problem in VW 2023 and am going to try this solution now.
