Hi Tom Eureka!!! Thanks so much for pitching in to help. I think I saw you posted this same fix on the other thread where someone was having similar issues. I tried it then but I don't think I fully understood and changed the Species/data section arrows rather than all the arrows in the Tag section so it didn't work. So I need to do this for all my plants then? I don't really understand why this was changed from 2022? But it's working so I can now crack on. Thanks again, I'm so relieved. Flora

I'm up to date now with VW2023 S7. Unfortunately the problem still exists. I wonder if the file has corrupted somehow. I downloaded 2024 yesterday to see if the Plant tags would work in that and it didn't.

Hi Nikolay thanks for responding - I just saw your post. My VW 2023 is SP3. I didn't realise there were other updates? I ll look for them now and see if that makes a difference. Best wishes Flora

Help please. I've been using various versions of vecctorworks VW 2022 and more recently VW 2023. My issue is that Im trying to finish a planting plan but I can't use the plant tags - they are all greyed out in the OIP, I'm so frustrated. I can't see what I've done differently. Is this a bug or has my design file corrupted? I've searched around and seen 2 other users asking for help on this a while ago but I have no idea if they resolved it. I've never had this problem before. I downloaded VW 2024 yesterday in the hope that maybe solve it and it hasn't. Im starting to think I may have to do all the labels manually. Flora

Did you manage to fix this? I have a planting plant to get out to a client. I've not had this problem in 2022 either. Slightly panicking too.

That sounds very logical. I didn't know you could choose where to search. Thanks very much for helping Tom W, I'll give that a go.

Help please. I want to generate a plant report /list for the nursery. I am using VW 2022 for this design. The issue is that I generated a 'plant syle for the landcape areas' as part of the concept presentation plan. I don't actually want those plants. I created duplicate shaped beds with the actual planting plan. I have turned off the 'concept plants' but Vectorworks still includes them in plant list which is really confusing and time consuming to eliminate. What can I do to get a pure list other than delete all the 'concept' beds.? Thanks

Hi Thanks for replying and all your help. it was such a simple solution - I needed to turn my laptop off and on again properly not just restart it. Then teh VW recognised the SP4 pack no problem. Sorry for being a bit daft. Regards FP

Hi thanks for replying. It is the installation not the downloading. I tried installing as administrator and that didn't work. It seems to suggest the issue is the proxy settings at Vectorworks end of things.

Hi Its been a very long time since I used my Vectorworks 2010 software. I have loaded it onto my laptop ok. I am having problems updating it with the VW 2010 SP4. Every time I try to update it, an error message come up. Attempting Vectorworks 2010 update to SP4: update fails with the following message: "Server responded: <title>404 Not Found</title> An unexpected response was received from the web server. This could be due to a proxy server intercepting the connection. Please contact support for more information." Please can someone help me/ Many thanks FP.
