trang
Hi guys, Does anyone know how to get rid of the background when you create an image prop? I've opened the image in photoshop and erased the background, then imported it into vectorworks as an image prop...but the background is still there. I've also tried to mask transparency...but it does't seem to work either. I'm not sure if I'm doing the process right. Does anyone have a clue. Thanks Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
check to see if you're rendering style has transparency turned on. Quote Link to comment
propstuff
Are you using Final rendering mode or Custom with recursion set to more than about 5? When you "erased" the background in photoshop, how did you do it? N. Quote Link to comment
trang
Thanks guys, fogot to check the transparency box. Hey Nick, As for erasing the background...you take the wand tool, highlight the are you want to erase and then use the eraser to remove it... hope this helps. Toggle Quote Link to comment

A much "cleaner" (but time consuming!) way is to use the pen tool to create a selection and them feather the selection a bit. cheers, N. Quote Link to comment
