Huh? I'm trying to apply a brick texture to the gable face of a solid subtraction (see attached file) and I get the message "Texture cannot be applied to faces of a non-history-based object." Why? It's a solid subtraction of a solid addition of 3D symbols and a generic solid. Is that not history? (And, in any case, can't we apply textures to faces of generic solids, which have no history?...).
