Changing the scale of an imported DWG file

I have imported the DWG file from the surveyor. The file is set to scale is in 1:1. I can see that the drawing is at 1:300. When changing the scale to 1:300 I end up with all these black triangles. Any advice?

Those are arrow heads on leaders.

They are huge due to the settings you used while importing the DWG.  You can set up a new file at the proper units and design layers scale prior to importing the DWG to eliminate the problem.

 

If you are doing an imperial project…Autocad site plans are typically drawn in decimal units with 1 unit = 1’.  Vectorworks has a corresponding unit that works well called Feet 😉

Thank you. I set the file to 1:300, but when I check a few measurements the dimensions are not quite correct. The pool length should be 3,8 metres whereas it says 4 in the file.

@Hanna N hi check these settings. the 2 boxes are same and one has different settings. Left has no decimal set.
