I'd love to find a corner fireplace object. Ideally, the fireplace object would have two additional configuration options: corner right & corner left - as well options for sidewall vent location that include back and side. Of course this object would need to be inserted at the corner intersection of two walls. Thanks!

Hi everybody, I am newbie Vectorworks user. I just signed up to the community to hopefully figure out a problem I am having with the so called Hybrid Object. Starting from the bottom, I have created a solid by subtracting a simple solid (cylinder) from a negative void of a second solid as in the image. This apparently resulted in what is an Hybrid Object. As I want to further model the 3D form Vectorworks warns me with the following message: "Hybrid Objects can only be rotated in a plane parallel to the active layer plane.Would you like the working plane set to the active layer plane?" If I say yes, the working plane is automatically set to make the object rotate on the Z axis. Instead I am looking to rotate it on the axis which will position it flat on the larger side. I hope I have been clear enough but If I wasn't please bear with me. Thanks, Flavio

Window Object Glazing Control
Asemblance posted a question in Wishlist - Feature and Content Requests
It would be useful to have a little more control over the glazing used in window objects. I.e. double glazing, triple glazing. This is usually not too big of an issue as the sort of scale these windows are viewed at, its generally OK to treat the glazing as one object. However we are currently working on a project with a recording studio, which has very high acoustic requirements - to achieve this there is a significant gap between each layer of glazing (300mm in this case!) which we would like to see in our drawings. -
Hey Guys, I'm having issues with my section viewport where a line from the a slab object is showing through a wall. In the attached images, I've circled the three instances where a line appears where it should not. I have tried moving the slab far beyond the wall, but the line still displays. The line disappears when I delete the slab object and update the viewport. The strange thing is, when I pull the clip cube away from the building for an elevation, the lines disappear. Let me know what you guys think the issue is. Thanks, Raymond

Hi All, Got one of those queries I feel will either have a simple answer, or be impossible.. I'm trying to locate all geometry on a certain class- Easy for the most part. However say I'm looking for an object in class 'X', but that object is in a group, which itself is in class 'Y' - How do I locate the class 'X' object in the group? Thanks A

Hi there, I am working on a project where i created a marionette object node (thanks to this forum it works so far) with a couple of adjustable parameters in the OIP. Is there a way to get access to those parameters to create a worksheet that lists all the object instances and there parameter settings? Before i knew marionette i used databases (records) to store all that information but within the object node i can't do it since it groups everything on the last step. I hope someone understands what i mean and ideally has an idea to make it work. thank you very much in advance Benny
